Our location is ideal for taking advantage of all this region has to offer. We are in Los Masos, a quiet village, 3km from the market town of Prades and a gentle 15 min walk to the village bar/cafe where you can buy bread and other groceries. If you're feeling more energetic there are a variety of mountain walks you can take from the front door of your gite.

Hop in the car and there is freshwater swimming in a lake (with small beach/refreshments available) only 10 mins away, or a leisurely 45 min drive takes you to the mediterranean beaches. 45-60 mins in the other direction will take you to the lakesides and ski slopes at Font Romeu, Matemale and Les Angles. The surrounding area of the Conflent Valley lies in the foothills of the eastern Pyrenees and has much to offer in itself - walking, fishing, mountain sports, children's activities, picturesque villages, churches and abbeys, or just relaxing and enjoying the local food and hospitality...

Whether you are coming for a week, a fortnight, or a long weekend, we are open year round. For longer rentals, for example if you are looking to buy property in the area, rates are available on request.

We have lived in the area for 7 years, have many local contacts, and are on hand next door to help with any questions or requirements you have during your stay. French and English spoken fluently.

Coming to see the rugby in Perpignan? We are just 30 minutes away and can usually be flexible if you want to stay outside the usual Saturday-Saturday.
